HAVE A LIFE-CHANGING JOURNEY IN ONE WEEK’S TIME, ALL FROM THE COMFORT OF HOME.

During this five-day Online Leadership Academy, students will be guided through the five pillars of the exclusive Global Leadership Adventures curriculum, which is designed to take students on a journey to uncover their personal visions, purpose and knowledge of themselves and their role in the world.

Students enrolled in the Online Leadership Academy will:

  • Start each morning virtually with a daily guided mindfulness exercise, specifically curated to take you on a personal journey of growth and exploration.
    • During this journey, we will pull in wisdom from cultures around the world as we work to expand awareness of our own internal world by uncovering our own blind spots in terms of patterns of thinking, feeling and behavior.
  • Hear from a daily keynote speaker to highlight outstanding examples of leadership today.
  • Wrap up the day in small Mentor groups, during which they can digest, reflect and connect with peers alongside an inspirational Mentor.
  • Be guided to take action in ways that give them purpose, belonging and meaningful direction in 2021.

The small Mentor groups will be the same group of teens each day, with no more than 12 students per Mentor group. We will include the entire student group for the keynote addresses. Each day will run approximately 3 hours.

Alumni Testimonials
on the Experience

This was easily the highlight of my COVID “quarantine”. My world is now opened up to countless new career and life opportunities as a global leader, citizen, and traveler. I could not be more grateful for this program.

Absolutely one of my most incredible and eye opening experiences of my entire life.

This experience gave me so much insight on global impact, global issues and new career
opportunities. I loved every minute of it!

I really appreciated the opportunity to speak with a group of interested, invested people and have some important discussions.

“I wish we could learn about this kind of stuff in school! It’s so interesting” Just one of the positive things my daughter had to say about her experience… the “debate” really opened her eyes to this type of discussion: forming opinions, articulating arguments, etc. Such valuable experience at this ripe age in figuring out who you are and what you believe and how you want to show up in the world.

We can’t thank you enough for making this opportunity available to her. We feel like she received such an important overview and context to her future GLA program. I would recommend all future GLA-ers to participate in something like this before their programs. My daughter will get SO much more out of her program next summer because of this opportunity. Grateful!

Previously, I was a bit reserved and sort of just followed the crowd. Now, I believe that I will lead by example to help make the world a better place.

This was SUCH a wonderful program!!! It opened up my son’s mind, truly inspired him and made for many thought-provoking discussions around the dinner table! Thank you for putting together such a thoughtful curriculum. We wish there was more!! We would love to recommend it to others if you ever opened it up.

This experience impacted me in a significant, positive way. Firstly, I have never been in a mentor group with teenagers like myself with such seriousness, drive, dedication to learning and listening, sensibility, and compassion. They all brought out the best in me and led me to discover more insight on global issues, ethics, sustainability, perspective, accountability,
courage, leadership, etc. Secondly, the keynote speakers, all very different, but each with enthusiasm, intelligence, and inspiration.

All have encouraged me to go out into the world, diversify my experiences, travel, create a network for myself, and one day share my experiences to young global potential leaders in the world like those of whom were a part of this course. Now I am curious to learn more about new cultures, global health, animal conservation, ecological matters, human connections, and so much more. I have completed this engaging course competently with new goals for myself and the world, as well as a new outlook on global citizenship and leadership. So, thank you.
